The record
Four sides built almost entirely from motif, with "St. Thomas" and "Blue Seven" turning a calypso hook into extended thematic argument. Flanagan comps sparingly and Roach brushes lightly, leaving Rollins the whole frame to fill.

Pressings
The earliest on file is the 1957 Prestige LP 7079 in mono, with an RVG stamp and a laminated sleeve. The 1958 repressings of that same number are where the deep groove shows up, one of them on a 203 address cover. Prestige renumbered the record PR 7326 in 1964, mono and stereo -- those are reissues, not early copies. For modern cuts: DCC's LPZ-2008 in 1995, Analogue Productions' 45 RPM AJAZ 7079 in 2004 and their mono LP 7079 in 2013, and the Kevin Gray-remastered OJC-291.
