The record
Dorham's last Blue Note date pairs him with a tenor player he'd worked alongside all year, the two horns trading phrases with the ease of a settled partnership. Flanagan and Richard Davis keep the tempo relaxed, letting the frontline do the talking.

Pressings
The 1965 Blue Note pressings are the ones to hunt. The mono flagged earliest here, BLP 4181, shows a deep groove on one side only, plus the RVG stamp, Plastylite ear and a laminated sleeve; a sibling mono listed as 4181 has the groove on the other side, and a third 1965 mono has none. The 1965 stereo, BST 84181, carries a deep groove throughout. The 1966 mono repress keeps groove and lamination but drops the ear.
