The record
Shelved until the 1980s despite sharing a session date with its companion record, this one leans on Grant Green's bluesy guitar lines against Kelly's crisp comping. Chambers and Philly Joe Jones keep things loose without losing the pocket.

We hold no 1960s pressing of this title. The earliest on file is Blue Note's 1985 US BST 84431, a remastered issue with an RVG stamp, alongside a Japanese BNJ 71081 and a French DMM cut of BST 84431 from the same year; Greece followed in 1987. The serious modern copy is Music Matters' 45 RPM gatefold, MMBST-84431, from 2011, with DOL783H of 2014 the widely available alternative.
