A full New Orleans front line on Blue Note in 1955: Lewis' clarinet threading between Avery "Kid" Howard's trumpet and Jim Robinson's trombone, with Creole George Guesnon's banjo and Alcide "Slow Drag" Pavageau's bass giving Alton Purnell's piano and Joe Watkins' drums their bounce. Ten tunes deep in the old book -- "Mahogany Hall Stomp," "High Society," "Savoy Blues," "Heebie Jeebies." Reid Miles did the cover.
