The credits carry two clarinets, two basses and two drummers -- George Lewis (2) and Albert Nicholas, Chester Zardis and Wellman Braud, Baby Dodds and Edgar Mosley -- with Lawrence Marrero on banjo, Jim Little (4) on tuba, Jim Robinson (2) on trombone and Art Hodes at the piano. Avery 'Kid' Howard sings as well as playing trumpet. Blue Note's ten-inch LP 7013, from 1951; the New Orleans comes from the band's own name.
