A Blue Note compilation of Bechet small-group sides, and the cast rotates constantly across it -- Bunk Johnson, Sidney De Paris and Max Kaminsky on trumpets, Vic Dickenson and Sandy Williams on trombones, Meade 'Lux' Lewis and Art Hodes among the pianists, Sidney Catlett and Freddie Moore behind the kit. Bechet takes both clarinet and soprano. 'Blue Horizon' and 'Summertime' anchor it. BLP 1201, 1955.
