The record

Banjo anchors the rhythm section here, Lawrence Marrero next to Chester Zardis's bass and Edgar Mosley's drums, under George Lewis on clarinet and Jim Robinson's trombone. Avery 'Kid' Howard is credited on trumpet and vocals both, so a voice turns up somewhere in the six sides. A ten-inch Blue Note from 1951, jacket designed by Paul Bacon.
