Lincoln's second date for Riverside, cut with a band that reads like a Blue Note session sheet -- Rollins, Dorham, Chambers, Kelly, and Roach all in support of a singer just beginning to find her own gravity and phrasing.

Pressings
The earliest pressing on file here is the 1957 US mono RLP 12-251 on Riverside with deep groove. A 1958 stereo, RLP 1107, and a second 1958 mono in a laminated sleeve follow, all still deep groove. Original Jazz Classics' OJC-085 from 1983 is the standard reissue and the easiest honest copy to find. Craft Recordings has a 2026 Record Store Day mono, CR01002, at 180 gram.
