The record

A curious Verve compilation splicing Getz's mid-'60s tenor work with two different piano chairs, pairing him with Bill Evans' harmonic poise on one date and a young Chick Corea on another. Rhythm support from Richard Davis, Ron Carter, Elvin Jones, and Grady Tate rounds out a set that catches the saxophonist between eras of collaborators.
