The record
Coltrane sits in for the title cut only, the two tenors trading over Miles's rhythm section in their sole documented meeting. The rest belongs to Rollins alone, working through standards with Garland's comping pushing him along.

Pressings
The earliest we list is the 1956 Prestige PRLP 7047 in mono, carrying both deep groove labels and an RVG stamp. A 1958 Prestige LP 7047 repress keeps the deep groove and adds a laminated sleeve, and a 1964 LP 7047 has the stamp but is a reissue -- so neither marker on its own gets you to the earliest copy. OJC-124 has covered the title since 1984. The serious modern options are DCC LPZ-2022 (1996), the 45rpm Analogue Productions AJAZ 7047 (2003) and APRJ 7047 in mono (2021, 2022).
