A precocious eighteen-year-old trumpeter's debut date, cut with Silver's hard-driving comping and the Ware-Jones rhythm tandem already locked in tight. Clarence Sharpe's rare recorded appearance adds a wiry alto voice to a session that announces Morgan's arrival fully formed.
