The record
Woody Shaw's horn and DeJohnette's restless drums mark one of the leader's final dates as a Blue Note bandleader, writing loosening at the edges while the blues core holds. A late-'60s session poised right at the break.

Pressings
Nothing here predates 1970: the earliest pressing on file is the US stereo BST 84345, carrying an RVG stamp. A German BST 84345 K and an Italian BST 84345 followed in 1970 and 1971. The 1973 US and German copies also show RVG stamps, so the stamp will not date a copy for you -- go by label and jacket. The only later pressing listed is a 1981 Japanese GXK-8211.
