The record

Two tenors up front, Mobley and Curtis Porter, who also doubles alto, giving the frontline more reed weight than the usual Blue Note quintet, and Bill Hardman's trumpet has to cut through both. Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers and Art Taylor handle the rhythm. Five tracks, among them "Bags' Groove" and "Falling In Love With Love." Alfred Lion produced. BLP 1568, 1957.
