The record
A six-piece front line crowds this one-off, Henderson and Spaulding trading fire while Tyner and Elvin Jones drive things toward hard-bop heat. Unreleased for years, it catches the guitarist holding his own against a full horn section.

The audiophile route is Music Matters -- gatefold 45 RPM MM-LT-990, first in 2010 and repressed in 2021. Blue Note's 2025 180-gram 7507946 is the easy one to find.
