Ammons's tenor set against Brother Jack McDuff's organ, with Joe Newman's trumpet added to the front line and Ray Barretto's congas alongside Walter Perkins's drums. Six tracks, 'Satin Doll', 'Moten Swing' and 'Stormy Monday Blues' among them. Van Gelder engineered; Don Schlitten handled both design and photography. Prestige PRLP-7238, mono, 1963.
