The record
Solo piano throughout, no bass and no drums, and most of the eight numbers are blues in one shape or another: "Blues In The Closet," "Wee Baby Blues," "Trane's Blues." Garland's block chords have to carry the whole weight with nothing to lean on, and the slower he takes it the better it sits. Moodsville MVLP 10.
