A young Kloss caught pivoting toward the electric currents of the moment, backed by a rhythm section on loan from Miles's own orbit -- Corea, Holland, and DeJohnette barely a beat removed from Bitches Brew sessions. Martino's twelve-string textures thicken the brew, making this one of Prestige's boldest fusion-era gambits.
