The record
Two drummers in the credits, Kenny Clarke and Kenny Clare, driving a band with four trumpets, three trombones and a reed section that puts Johnny Griffin, Ronnie Scott and Tony Coe on tenors together. Francy Boland wrote the arrangements and plays piano, Sahib Shihab doubles baritone and flute, and Dave Pike's vibraphone cools the brass. Prestige, 1969.
