Recorded near the close of '67, this date swells the frontline to three horns, adding Pepper Adams' baritone and Julian Priester's trombone with McCoy Tyner guesting on piano. Mitchell's tone holds its warmth even as the charts turn brassier and more ambitious.

No mono is recorded, which fits a Blue Note of this vintage. Foreign copies followed in 1969: Germany on BST 84 272 K, South Africa on BLC 84272. No audiophile reissue appears in our file at all, so a clean US stereo original is the whole game here.
