The record
Mid-decade Blue Note blowing session marking one of Chick Corea's first appearances on record, paired with Junior Cook's tenor and the same rhythm tandem from the prior year's date. Mitchell leans blues-drenched here, grounding Corea's early harmonic curiosity in familiar groove.

Pressings
The earliest on file is the 1965 US Blue Note mono, BLP 4214, with a deep groove. The 1965 stereo BST 84214 carries a Plastylite ear, and a second 1965 stereo adds an RVG stamp on an All Disc pressing, so the stereo side is messier than it looks. A 1966 stereo reissue follows. Japanese GXK 8224 from 1981 and the 1993 limited BN 4214 are the sensible alternatives to original-era prices.
