The record
Three nights on stage in May '65 turned a Dobie Gray pop tune into a crossover hit for this trio, Young's fat bass lines and Holt's snappy backbeat driving the title cut. Lewis folds gospel and R&B into the piano-trio format here, proof the jukebox and the bandstand could agree.
