The record
A big-band date cut for Argo with Johnny Pate's arrangements giving Moody's tenor, alto, and flute room to stretch over a reed-heavy Chicago section. Junior Mance's piano and Red Holt's drums keep the swing lean beneath the horns' punch and color.
