The record

Recorded in the spring of 1957 with Teddy Charles supervising, this finds the future Miles Davis engineer blowing spare, thoughtful tenor alongside Waldron's piano and Farmer and Segal's unhurried rhythm section. A brief detour before Macero moved permanently behind the board.
