The record
Discophon caught Stitt overseas in the mid-'70s with Art Blakey driving hard behind Bill Hardman's trumpet and Walter Davis Jr.'s piano. Horns trade freely across the date, the leader still burning through changes with the fire that marked his best Bird-schooled work.
