The record
A rare Dawn-label date led by trombonist Frank Rehak, pairing him with fellow bone player Melba Liston's writing and a rhythm section built around Walter Davis Jr. and Charlie Persip. A snapshot of late-'50s hard bop craftsmanship from working sidemen who rarely got their names on the marquee.
