The record
Prestige-era Rollins caught mid-ascent, splitting duties between two rhythm sections and pairing with Kenny Dorham's brass on the title cut's brisk hard-bop stride. A young tenor stretching out alongside Monk and Hope, sharpening the harmonic edge that would define his decade to come.

Pressings
The earliest on file is the 1956 US Prestige mono, LP 7058, with a repress of the same number in 1958. The French Barclay editions are worth knowing: 84 059 from 1958 carries an RVG stamp, and the 1959 84 059 S adds a flat edge. Japanese Top Rank copies as RANK-5016 date to 1961. Fantasy's OJC-058 arrived in 1983 in both Carrollton and Pitman pressings and is the easy honest copy.
