A crackling in-person set from a trio that knew how to swing a room, Bryant's blues-soaked piano riding easy over Rowser and Riley's tight pocket. Cut for Sue in '64, it captures the pianist at his most rollicking and crowd-conscious, gospel and barrelhouse touches never far from the surface.
