The record
A Nesuhi Ertegun-era Candid date with Buck Clayton leading and arranging for a swinging mainstream crew of Basie and Condon alumni, framing Harrow's warm, unhurried phrasing on blues and standards. Tate's tenor and Clayton's own horn give the session a Kansas City glow rarely heard behind a vocalist this understated.
