The record
Lafayette Thomas's guitar and a harmonica player credited only as "Harpie" Brown give Memphis Slim's piano and vocals a full band to work with, Wendell Marshall on bass. Twelve sides, from 'Beer Drinking Woman' to 'When Your Dough Roller Is Gone,' on a 1965 mono Prestige repress with an Esmond Edwards cover and Joe Goldberg's notes.
