The record
Hutcherson's vibes give Tyner an unusual foil here, the two instruments trading percussive attacks while Lewis and Waits drive the grooves beneath them. A lesser-known 1968 Blue Note date, but a strong showcase for how his block chords could shift shape against mallets.
