The record
A dream-team Riverside date finds Murphy backed by both Bill Evans and Wynton Kelly on rotating piano duties, plus Barretto's congas working alongside Jimmy Cobb's kit for extra rhythmic lift. The horn charts -- Cleveland, Liston, Green, Glow -- give this vocal set a big-band sheen while Murphy's phrasing stays loose, hip, and utterly his own.
