The record
Boogaloo groove turned unlikely crossover hit, the title track proved hard bop could shimmy as well as swing. Henderson's tenor and Harris's piano stay grounded while Higgins locks a beat that outlasted the record.

Pressings
The earliest we list is the 1964 Blue Note BLP 4157 in mono, with an RVG stamp and a Plastylite ear; stereo BST 84157 is also 1964, and several 1964 copies carry a deep groove on one side only, which is normal for the period rather than a fault. By 1966 both numbers are back as repressings, some explicitly noted as having no ear. Modern copies on file are Analogue Productions AP-84157 at 45rpm (2009), Music Matters MMBST 84157 (2014) and Blue Note's Classic Vinyl 0743886 (2020).
