The record
Junior Cook's tenor riding on top of John Patton's organ, Jimmy Ponder's guitar in the middle, Clifford Jarvis at the drums: four players and no padding. The titles run from 'String Bean' and 'Dirty Fingers' to a reading of 'Minor Swing.' Francis Wolff produced, Rudy Van Gelder cut the lacquer, Blue Note BST 84281 in 1968.
