Organ, guitar and drums recorded at a club in Wilmington, Delaware, and issued as BLP 1528 in Blue Note's 1500 run. Thornel Schwartz is the man to follow on guitar, with Donald Bailey on drums behind Smith. Alfred Lion produced, Reid Miles designed the cover, Francis Wolff shot the photo and Rudy Van Gelder cut the lacquer. Four tunes, 'The Preacher' among them.
