Copenhagen finds Parlan deep into his expatriate years, reunited with fellow transplant Ed Thigpen alongside Danish regulars Rasmussen and Jædig, plus Sulieman's warm flugelhorn out front. Inner City's rough pressing captures a working band's easy, unforced swing rather than any studio showcase.
