The record

Nichols at the piano with Al McKibbon on bass and Art Blakey on drums, six titles on a Blue Note ten-inch from 1955. 'Cro-Magnon Nights', 'Blue Chopsticks', 'Step Tempest' -- the titles are strange, and Blakey behind this particular pianist is worth hearing. Leonard Feather wrote the notes, Martin Craig designed the cover.
