The record

Two flutes weaving around each other -- Herbie Mann, who also picks up alto flute, and Bobby Jaspar -- over Eddie Costa's vibraphone and Joe Puma's guitar, with Tommy Flanagan at the piano. It makes for an unusually light-toned session, all treble and air. Five tracks, 'Flute Bass Blues' and 'Solacium' among them. Prestige 7124, 1958, notes by Ira Gitler.
