The record
Three horns across the front -- Ammons on tenor, Lou Donaldson on alto, Art Farmer on trumpet -- with Freddie Redd, Addison Farmer, and Kenny Clarke underneath. Van Gelder engineered, Ira Gitler wrote the notes, and Prestige put it on a ten-inch, LP 211, in 1955. The program runs to just three titles, which is what the album's own name promises.
