The record
Ella Fitzgerald singing 'Hey Jude' and 'Sunshine Of Your Love' is the hook, though the program keeps one foot in older material -- 'Old Devil Moon', 'Give Me The Simple Life', 'Don'cha Go 'Way Mad'. Tommy Flanagan plays piano, Ed Thigpen drums, Frank De La Rosa bass, Allen Smith trumpet, with Ernie Heckscher credited as leader. Norman Granz produced and annotated it for Prestige in 1969.
