Terry's flugelhorn and Brookmeyer's dry valve-trombone wit make an easy pair here, Kellaway's young piano bringing fresh harmonic curiosity to this Mainstream session from late '64. Crow and Bailey keep the rhythm unhurried, letting two simpatico hornmen talk all night.
