The record

Benny Golson arranged and conducted the orchestra, which is the unusual element here: Brother Jack McDuff's organ, George Benson's guitar, Red Holloway's tenor and Joe Dukes's drums playing against written charts instead of open blowing space. Nine titles for Prestige in 1964, 'Dig Uncle Will' and 'A Kettle Of Fish' among them, with design and photograph by Don Schlitten.
