The record
Caught live, spoken introductions and all -- two of the seven tracks are announcements rather than music, which is part of the charm. Hank Mobley is the tenor in this edition of the Messengers, Lee Morgan the trumpet, Bobby Timmons the piano and Jymie Merritt the bass. "Hipsippy Blues" and "Just Coolin'" are the meat of it. Blue Note 4015, mono.
