The record
Vibraphone lends an airy, chiming glow against the leader's dense clusters, while Neidlinger and Charles keep the pulse elastic and restless. Cut for a West Coast label known mostly for cool jazz and hard bop, this documents Taylor's earliest working group finding its own shape.

Pressings
The earliest on file is the 1959 US Contemporary mono, M3562, with a deep groove; the stereo S7562 is listed the same year and is also deep grooved, so both are period options. UK Contemporary copies, LAC.12216, run from 1959. Be careful with the deep groove as a dating cue here -- later US S7562 pressings from 1963 through 1979 keep it. OJC-452 from 1990 is the straightforward modern reissue.
