A 1963 Belgian summit session steeped in the era's organ-combo warmth, with Thomas's fleet, bebop-schooled guitar lines trading space against Lou Bennett's churning Hammond and longtime foil Jacques Pelzer's alto. Fresh Sound's reissue rescues a European hard-bop date that rarely gets mentioned alongside its American counterparts, but holds its own.
