A trio take on Herbie Hancock's modal tune, cut with the groove-forward touch that kept Lewis a crossover name on Cadet. White's drumming already carries traces of the drive he'd later bring to Earth, Wind & Fire.

The earliest we list is the 1968 US Cadet stereo, LPS 811, which turns up that year from three plants -- Indianapolis, Monarch and Pitman. A 1977 Keel pressing reuses the same number, so check the deadwax rather than trusting the label. Abroad it went out on Chess: CRLS.4539 in the UK, 275 005 in Germany, CHLS-255 in Australia, with a Japanese Globe SMJ-7489. Japan's 1976 Chess BT-8051 is the tidiest reissue on file.
