The record
A rare switch to tenor finds the reed man pushing harmolodic logic into a heavier, coarser register, with Cherry's pocket trumpet darting around him and Garrison and Blackwell keeping the pulse loose. One of the last dates from Coleman's classic quartet lineage before the group scattered.
