The credit list is the draw: Betty Carter, Jon Hendricks, the Dave Lambert Singers and the Three Riffs all carry vocal credits alongside King Pleasure, with Lucky Thompson and Charlie Ferguson on tenors, John Lewis (2), Percy Heath and Kenny Clarke behind them, and Quincy Jones conducting. Rudy Van Gelder mastered it, and David X. Young is credited with both the cover photograph and its design. Prestige LP 208, 1954.
