A '73 Scandinavian date finds the Chicago tenor titan in the company of expat pianist Horace Parlan and bassist Red Mitchell, blowing with the big, unhurried tone that made him a jukebox favorite decades earlier. Enja caught a working quartet at ease, favoring warmth and swing over flash.
