The record
Cut after Ammons served a decade-long narcotics sentence, this session finds the big Chicago tenor sound reunited with Prestige and wrapped in a heavier, funk-tinged rhythm section -- Joe Sample and Chuck Rainey among them. A comeback record in the truest sense, its title says it plainly.
