A solo-into-trio session cut early in Jordan's long SteepleChase run, with Vinding and Thigpen offering the kind of unhurried, listening rhythm section that let his bebop lyricism breathe. Recorded not long after his relocation to Denmark, it set the template for the label's warm, unfussy house sound.
